Datacap Sample #1 Basic Usage

Here is one sample of basic document, the Invoice.

Like any formatted documents it has headers, parts explaining invoice info and customers info, and transactions.
These information can be extracted from available fields in document, for example we may want to know invoice number and customer name.

Let's get started. Fire up Datacap Studio and create new project.

On Document hierarchy pane prepare 2 fields for example InvoiceNo and CustomerName.

On Fingerprint pane prepare new fingerprint and define its field zones to appropriate area in document.
